Laser Range Finders
A laser rangefinder can be combined with a GPS unit to provide an “offset”. You can instantly measure slope distance, inclination and azimuth* and calculate horizontal and vertical distance - all with a single push of a button. Laser Rangefinders are now much smaller and more economical than in the past so are a useful tool for any GPS mapping application. (*Applies to only the TruPulse 360 models).
